Annabelle Gardiner

Violin

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Gardiner received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Music Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. While at Eastman, she studied violin with Zvi Zeitlin and Oleh Krysa and chamber music with members of the Cleveland Quartet. Ms. Gardiner has been performing with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra since 2006 and was appointed as Assistant Concertmaster in August 2010. In September 2017, she began her post as Associate Concertmaster. Ms. Gardiner is a former member of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, and Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and has served as a regular substitute violinist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. She has worked with internationally renowned conductors such as James DePreist, Sir Neville Marriner, Leonard Slatkin, and John Williams, to name a few. In addition to her orchestral career, Ms. Gardiner has extensive performing experience ranging from Broadway musicals and pop/rock concerts to 20th-century music. She has appeared in concerts with orchestral backup for Keith & Kristyn Getty, Idina Menzel, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Andrea Bocelli, Manheim Steamroller, Arturo Sandoval, Mel Torme, Itzhak Perlman, Renee Fleming, Yo-Yo Ma, as well as many other renowned artists. She has also been a member of several Disney recording projects and regularly records for Hal Leonard Music Publishers. In addition to performing with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Ms. Gardiner performs with the Candlelight Orchestra at Epcot and is an extra-hire musician with The Florida Orchestra. Annabelle Gardiner is an Associate Professor of Music at Southeastern University where she teaches violin and viola, string techniques, chamber orchestra, and music theory. During the summers, Ms. Gardiner teaches and performs at the Masterworks Festival, where she directs the String Intensive Studies Program.

Olga Ferroni

Violin

A native of Moldova, Olga Ferroni started to study violin at the age of seven. She holds a Masters of Music Degree in violin performance from the G. Muzicescu Conservatory in Kishinev, Moldova. After graduation, she played for the National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova and toured Europe for 8 years as a member of the European Symphony Orchestra. While continuing her classical education, she started to explore jazz, playing in different ensembles and big bands making their appearance at jazz festivals in Romania, France, and on TV shows.In 2000, Olga won a green card lottery which allowed her to live and work in the USA. She joined the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in 2001. Since then, Olga has played for the West Coast Symphony, Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Bach Festival Orchestra, Downtown Disney and Walt Disney World Entertainment, Cirque du Soleil as a part of the Food and Wine Festival, and other private engagements, both jazz and classical. Olga Is a leader of a Tango group called Kalinka which performs regularly at Downtown Disney.

Tyler Pacheco

Viola

Orlando-based violist, Tyler Pacheco, is the winner of numerous competitions including first prizes in the DePaul University’s Inaugural Chamber Music competition in 2020, the 2018 Miami Music Festival Concerto Competition, the University of Miami ”Viola Day” solo competition, and more. He was recently a featured soloist with DePaul University’s Baroque Ensemble performing the 6th Brandenburg Concerto.Mr. Pacheco’s passion for chamber music has led him to undertake many personal projects to fulfill his calling. He is the Co-Founder and Artistic director of the newly formed Musiva Concert Series in Orlando, Florida, which showcases the Ibero-American contribution to classical music through live chamber music performances and community events. Mr. Pacheco is a performing member of Musiva’s core ensemble and frequently appears as soloist. He has performed withDavid Russell and Michael Klotz at the Inaugural Josef Gingold Chamber music Festival of Miami. He is also a founding member of the Immaculata Chamber Series in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando. As an orchestral musician, he performs regularly with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra, The Venice Symphony, and many others in the Central Florida area. In recent occasions he has performed with orchestras including The Northbrook Symphony, Kankakee Valley Symphony, and appeared as guest principal with the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Pacheco has attended numerous prestigious orchestral summer programs, including the Aspen Music Festival, Tanglewood Young Artists Program, Brevard Music Center, and theMiami Music Festival, in which he held various principal positions. He has performed alongside renowned conductors such as David Effron, Karen Levine, Keith Lockhart, Mark Gibson, Tito Munoz, Ludovic Morlot, Robert Spano, Louis Langree, among others. Tyler Pacheco is a graduate of The DePaul University School of Music and The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory. He has studied under the tutelage of Paul Neubauer, Wei-Ting Kuo, Masao Kawasaki, and Dr. Catherine Carroll Lees. Other mentors include Paul Colletti, Michael Klotz, Dr. Scott Rawls, and Dr. Jesus Alfonzo. Mr. Pacheco has also had the privilege of receiving mentorship from respected artists from the Brooklyn Rider, Juilliard, Pacifica, Vega, and Ariel String Quartets.

Ronald Gardiner

Cello

Homegrown in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Mr. Gardiner is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where he earned a B.M and M.M degree in cello performance and literature, with additional study at the Hochschule fur Musik in Freiburg, Germany, and the Peabody Conservatory.During his student years, Mr. Gardiner was a prizewinner of the Midland-Odessa National Young Artist Competition held in Midland, Texas. While studying in Europe, he was invited to perform for Hungarian pianist Gyorgy Sebok in his International Masterclasses held in Ernen, Switzerland. He has also performed in Masterclasses for Mstislav Rostropovich, Steven Isserlis, Ronald Leonard, Paul Katz, Hans Jorgen-Jensen, and Reinhard Goebel.Mr. Gardiner has been performing with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007 and was appointed Principal Cellist in January 2008. Mr. Gardiner is a former member of the United States Air Force Band member in Washington D.C., the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and performed as a regular substitute with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.As a professional orchestral musician, Mr. Gardiner has worked with internationally renowned conductors such as Leonard Slatkin, Charles Dutoit, Sir Neville Marriner, James DePriest, Yuri Temirkanov, Michael Tilson Thomas, Robert Shaw, John Williams, and Yan Pascal Tortelier, among others. Mr. Gardiner has recorded as an orchestral and chamber musician for the Vox Classics, BIS, and Albany record labels. Additionally, he is an active recording musician for various Disney productions and regularly records for Hal Leonard Publishers. An avid chamber musician, Mr. Gardiner has studied with members of the Cleveland, Emerson, Juilliard, Guarneri, American, and Mendelssohn string quartets at various festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Taos School of Music, the Winter Institute for String Quartets, and the Waterloo Festival of the Arts at Princeton University. An active freelance musician, Mr. Gardiner has worked with artists such as Renee Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Kool and the Gang, Mannheim Steamroller, The Gatlin Brothers, Wynonna Judd, Marvin Hamlisch, Joshua Bell, and Itzhak Perlman, Bebe Winans, Denyce Graves, Yo-Yo Ma, among others. Former teaching positions include the music faculties of Houghton College and an adjunct faculty position at the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester during his graduate studies. In addition to performing with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr. Gardiner performs with The Florida Orchestra, Opera Orlando, and the Orlando Ballet. He performed as a member of the opening cast at Hollywood Studios for The Music of Pixar Live! A Symphony of Characters and each December, he performs as part of the Candlelight Orchestra at Epcot.

During the summers, Mr. Gardiner teaches and performs at the MasterWorks Festival as part of the Orchestral Studies Program.
